Why Missions?

As Calvary Chapel of Appleton seeks to fulfill Jesus' commission of making disciples of all nations, we have been given a heart to reach the lost of the world through prayer, finances, and support. If you would like information on any of these ministries please feel free to contact us.

Gospel For Aisa - K.P. Yohannan

The mission of Gospel for Asia is to reach the unreached of Asia with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and fulfill the Great Commission through recruiting, training, sending and assisting qualified laborers to win the lost and plant local churches. In the last 10 years over 9,000 churches have been planted by Gospel for Asia native missionaries where no churches existed before.

The Dom (Gypsy) Community - Amoun Sleem

We first met Amoun on one of our bi-annual trips to Israel (2001). As she shared with our group about her burden for the Gypsy community in Jerusalem, the Lord was moving on our hearts to help her. Amoun is the founder of the Society of Gypsies in Israel, or 'Domari Society' and we count it a privilege to be able to support her in her work.

Far Reaching Ministries - George and Luan Fellman

George and Luan are serving the Lord and His servants through a guest house ministry with Far Reaching Ministries in Kampala, Uganda. Their desire is to serve the Church, Missionaries, and Pastors who will be coming to Uganda and Sudan. The guest house ministry also includes administrative duties as well as purchasing food and other items needed for Sudan.

Calvary Chapel Caneille - Huguener and Betty Bastia

Bastia's vision is to evangelize and disciple the people in the Caneille area of Haiti and from there to spread the gospel to surrounding areas. He has a passion to faithfully teach the word of God at Calvary Chapel Caneille until God takes him home and desires to facilitate visits by individuals and ministry teams that can help the Haitian people to know and understand the love of Jesus Christ.
