I grew up in Calvary Chapel of Appleton. My parents were a strong Christian influence in my life, and as a result of the fine example that they set, I accepted Christ in first grade. My first foray into ministry came at the age of twelve. My parents were called to help with the early years of Calvary Chapel Wausau, and I began serving on the worship team there. In the year 2000, my parents were called to return to Calvary Appleton, and upon our return, I was encouraged to become involved with the youth ministry and the recently formed video ministry.
While I was in high school, I worked at Calvary during my summer breaks- splitting my time between the media department and assisting the youth pastor. After graduation, I moved to Orange County to attend the School of Worship at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. At orientation, the school director announced that needed help with a media/web project that they were planning. Naturally, I was eager to help out. I played a key role in the development of their student access website. After graduating with honors, I returned home to resume working at Calvary Appleton. I still keep in close contact with the staff of the School of Worship, and I am regularly invited to teach media workshops at the worship conferences that they host.
In early 2007, I was promoted to Head of Visual Media. My current duties include overseeing our video ministry, producing our television program, designing and maintaining our website and live stream, and assisting with the larger graphic design projects.
